I found interesting quote and wanted to share for you. This quotes is writing by Ven. Shangpa Rinpoche. I hope you will like it.

"Diligence is always an important goal because without effort one cannot go forward towards the
Path. It is just like without wind, a boat does not move. Therefore, we have to develop diligence in order to progress in our development more rapidly. How do we recognize diligence? A practitioner who has diligence is one who has a certain kind of joy towards the Path. That is the recognition of diligence. Once you have the joy, once you are clear and once you know that this is a very good thing towards the Path , diligence will naturally come. We don't have to put so much effort to do it. But once you have the joy, once you have that interest, then you will develop it accordingly. Joy towards the path is the meaning of Diligence."

At First time, Ms. Chua secretly told to me in chinese that "Paulina, 你要请我吃顿饭了“. then suddenly i confused what she was talking about and i asked her "what's the good news for me?" after that she told me that "MOM has approved your work pass !!!" That was a great news i had. I wanted to scream like a mad woman but i couldn't because i was not at home. if i scream, everybody will come and look what was happening. Then i felt my spirit seems like float away already. Haha...^_^

The next day, Ms. Chua gave all the document to me and told me to go to Tanjong Pagar to submit the document to them. She inform me that i should arrived there before 8a.m in the morning. When i heard this, i felt sucks ! I hate to wake up so early. It's a long time never woke up at 5 a.m in the morning since i graduated from Pay Fong High School, Melaka-Malaysia. I wrote in my Facebook what i was feeling that time and then my friend had had a stupid suggestion. She said that "You think while you were studying in Pay Fong lo...then you will sleep early" LOL

The following day, when i arrived at Tanjong Pagar it already exactly 8 a.m. I walked straight and then saw a sign that told how to go collect your work permit. After that i turn right, took a lift at second floor. When i arrived, there are so many people queue and waiting. Luckily, there was no long queue. It's faster than i thought. i have taken a number and directly to the place. A minutes later, it's my turn ! The person checked all my documents and found that something missing in my medical check-up. she kept asking me where the x-ray chest photo was. i told her that i didn't bring. then she said my medical check-up didn't state the date i went to check-up. After finish checking, she told me to go back and come back again. What the Hell !!! I was so angry. I didn't care what she said. Aaaa...then i decided to go back tomorrow.

When i was walking out from that building, Oh NO...i don't know how to go to MRT Station because i am not familiar with that place. I asked someone else and told me to go straight until see the International Plaza and didn't mention how many minutes to walk from the building to station. BLEH !!! After a few minutes, i started feel like i lost. I am looking every building, road name and also bus number. I didn't see International Plaza this word. The only bus i can recognize is bus number 196. i go to bus stop and look for the direction. Oh My God ! This direction isn't go to Bugis, but go home. I was afraid and my leg stiff. I tried to calm down and ask again. The person that i ask was very nice, she explained clearly the MRT is. It's just infront of me ! I was shocked ! LOL !!! I walked down, suddenly my mind blank ! There are so many people walked out from three way. Which way i should go? I sms Ms. Chua to get help. Did you know what she reply me? She replied City Hall go to Bugis. Ugh ! I am not at City Hall, but I am at Tanjong Pagar MRT Station. However, i didn't know what to do, i followed my heart to walk until i see the tab card. Fortunately, i arrived at Bugis and work on time ^_*

The next day, at the same time, same place but different person who served me is aggravated. she looked at my photo and point that i couldn't use in work permit just because i wore spectacles. SHIT !! Then i need to re-take the photo again. It cost me SGD $6.00. The person who wants to take photo for me is so annoyed. "Why your forehead so bright, i can't take for you like this." she said. Then another person set the chair for me. She said again "Aiyo...you're very tall, can you set that chair again?" Walaoooeeiii complain here complain there. It's waste my time !! I was trying to be patient and respect her.

Afterward, i back to see that person. She told and indicate where to do the thumbprint. I obeyed what she said. Later then, another person who served me was very nice person. She talked gentle and advised me: "Your skin is very dry, you need to buy some foundation for your skin. " "You are from Indonesia and you can talk Chinese. It's very good. A lot of Indonesian couldn't talk like you." she told. I was giggling and say thank you to her. After that, she told me that i have to come back and collect my work pass on Monday, 25 January 2010. She gave me one week to collect my work pass.

26 January 2010 - once again, i went to MOM Tanjong Pagar. At this time, i was going to collect my work pass. It's different place. I reached there, i took queue number and wait. A few minutes later, I gave one document to her. She checked and find my work pass. After that she passed it to me. She told me to check whether it's true. If it's true, then i can go back. I was very happy !! Finally, i got the card. You can see the picture below ^_^
